For the month of September, 2007

Halo sushi!!!! Can you see the resemblance? Yeah, neither can I. Son suggested that I make sushi in the shape of the Halo 3 logo, in celebration of it being released at midnight last night. We would buy it, but we don’t have an XBox 360… yet… so we’re going to have to wait for a bit until we get one or can borrow one from a friend. We are looking forward to playing it though, so if you get it, let me know how it is… especially the split-screen co-op

I just love how the red pepper in the mayonnaise gives a little kick to the taste of the sushi. There really isn’t anything to not like about this, if you like spicy tastes. If you don’t, then just adjust the amount of red pepper powder to however you like it.

A few weeks ago, I signed up to participate in this thing called Taste & Create over on For the Love of Food. This time around, I got paired up with Deborah, from Taste and Tell. The assignment was to take a dish from your partner’s blog, then make it and write a post about it. (Read about which one I chose after the jump!)

This is very similar to the original Crunchy Shrimp Roll… but with bacon! Because bacon makes everything better. If you liked the original Crunchy Shrimp Roll and you like bacon, then you are gonna love this one!
