Thank your for sharing the recipe. I’ve borrowed this book from the city libray before and my room mate cooked this one for me before. She added the hard boiled eggs to the salad and some crab meat (ham is more common in the recipe though). It turned out to be very declicious. I think it would better if we put the mashed potato into a food processor before mixing it with all the other stuff.

this is a really late post but… i don’t know if you did this but its best to put the potatoes in when you start heating the water, not when there boiling.
